Thank you to all 7,070 District 9 residents who voted for me during the Democratic primary. The race was very tight with only a 0.3% difference (55 votes) between me and the Democratic Nominee.

Because of this closeness and the fact Maryland law does not allow run-offs in races with less than 1% difference as well as election irregularities (fake “Official Democratic Sample Ballots,” MVA debacle causing 524 provisional ballots of which only 161 were counted; and straw person in the race designed to take votes away from me) , I have heard overwhelming from voters and supporters to continue fighting onto the General Election as a Write-In Candidate.

I encourage all voters and supporters to write me in as their choice for District 9 County Council and ask your District 9 neighbors, especially Independents and Republicans. It’s simple, when you get to the County Council District 9 section of the ballots, use your Black ink pen to bubble in the oval for Write-In and on the blank line next to that oval you just bubbled in write in: Tamara Brown. Easy, right?

Let’s show the political establishment that the will of the voters for District 9 is not a hand-picked person who will be controlled, but an independent thinker who will represent the will and interests of the people. People over Politics. #WriteInTamaraBrown for District 9 County Council.
